TradingCalc

Terms of use

This site provides an arithmetic tool for position sizing. It is not financial advice and it is not a recommendation to enter any trade.

Not financial advice

Nothing here is personalised investment advice. The calculator applies arithmetic to numbers you choose; it has no opinion on whether a trade is a good idea, what your risk tolerance should be, or whether an instrument suits you. Trading leveraged products carries a substantial risk of losing money, including more than your initial deposit with some brokers.

Accuracy and its limits

The maths is verified by an automated test suite, but a correct calculation depends on inputs that only your broker can confirm. Contract size, pip definition, minimum lot and lot step vary between brokers and are not standardised, particularly on metals and stock indices. The values shown are common defaults, not universal truths, and they are editable for exactly that reason.

Currency conversion, where it applies, uses either the entry price you supply or a daily reference rate from a third party. A reference rate is not your broker's live rate. Always confirm the final position size in your trading platform before placing an order.

Availability

The site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Third-party price and rate feeds may be unavailable or delayed, and the site may change or disappear without notice. We accept no liability for trading losses, missed opportunities or any other damage arising from use of this tool.

The text, calculations and design of this site belong to its publisher. You are welcome to link to any page.
