Privacy policy
Short version: the calculator itself sends nothing anywhere. Everything you type is processed in your browser and stored only on your own device.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for an account, an email address or any personal detail, and there is no server that receives your calculations. Account size, risk percentage, entry and stop prices and every other field you fill in are processed entirely by JavaScript running on your device.
What is stored on your device
The site uses your browser's local storage for three things, all of which stay on your machine and can be deleted at any time by clearing site data:
- Your last calculator state, so the form is still filled in when you come back.
- Any templates you save, under the names you give them.
- A cached copy of daily currency reference rates, refreshed at most every six hours.
Third parties
Some features fetch data from external services. Those services necessarily see the request and therefore your IP address, but they receive none of the values you type into the calculator:
- exchangerate-api.com and frankfurter.dev — daily currency reference rates.
- Binance — live cryptocurrency prices, only when you press "get price" on a crypto instrument.
- Google AdSense — advertising, which uses cookies and similar technologies.
- Google Analytics — aggregate traffic measurement.
Advertising and cookies
This site is monetised with Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites, and to measure their performance. Personalised advertising can be turned off in Google's Ads Settings.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent dialog appears before any advertising or analytics cookie is set, and your choice is respected. Analytics and advertising storage stay disabled until you consent. You can change your decision at any time through that same dialog.
Analytics
Google Analytics is used to count visits and see which pages are useful, with IP anonymisation enabled. It tells us that a page was viewed, not who viewed it, and it never receives the numbers you enter in the calculator.
